Aloysius "Alo" Creevey is a fictional character in the television series Skins, played by Will Merrick
Characterisation
Alo is a outsider, he lives on farm and he's best friend with Rich Hardbeck who is a metalhead. He likes to look at Victorian pornography and smoke weed for his own pleasure. Unlike the others he can drive, and is often seen driving his van. He also has a dog named "Rags," which he's fond of.
Synopsis
Alo is first seen in "Franky" along with Rich when Franky walks by them. Later at lunch, they attempt to join Franky at her table, but are kicked off by Mini. Outside Mini's party the two try to gatecrash the party but they are stopped by the security guard. After Franky confronts Mini and the group, Alo, Rich and Grace kidnap her and take her to a local swimming pool to form their own gang.
In "Rich" Alo is kicked out of a party because of Rich's music taste. He decides that Rich really needs to find a girlfriend, and later finds him one, whom he calls "The Angel of Death." Later, he attempts to persuade Rich to become Grace's boyfriend.
In "Mini" Alo becomes a model for the college fashion show and is seen walking down the catwalk with Grace. Later Alo attends the after party where he sees Rich and Grace form a relationship.
In "Liv", after the gang merges with Mini's gang, Alo, upon discovering that Mini has brought a bag of weed, declares an impromptu party, until it is finished.
In "Nick," Alo meets Nick's brother, Matty, for the first time. Later, at a club, while Alo is pondering on getting a girlfriend, it is suggested by Nick that he pair up with Franky, prompting Franky to glare at Matty, who had agreed.
In his centric episode, "Alo," it's Alo's birthday, not that his hen-pecked father and domineering mother actually care. Despite his efforts, his mother refuses to let him go to town for his party, insisting he stay and help out at his farm, though he sneaks off anyway. The next day, when his parents decide to pull him out of school to force him to buckle down on the farm, his friends sneak him away to a nearby pub. But his parents arrive and find him, and drag him off. He is then made to help his dad move a particularly stubborn rock. Later, he ignores his list of tasks and hides in his cow's stable. After he accidentally blows up the cow, his parents take all of his stuff, including his van and Rags, his beloved dog, and refuse to listen to his pleas. Enraged, and finally reaching his limit, Alo invites the entire gang round for an egg and flour fight, using the farm's produce as ammunition. After destroying all of the eggs and flour on the farm, he invites the rest of the school round for an impromptu party, which trashes the farmhouse. To the horror of the partygoers, it emerges that his father has guns, and they all flee. Alo drunkenly confronts his aghast family, and insults his father, who, to his horror, suddenly collapses and has a heart attack. His mother angrily orders him to call an ambulance. He heads to Nick's house, where the party is continuing, and weeps on the couch. Mini consoles him. He heads off to find Rich, and discovers that he and Grace have just had sex - meaning Rich has finally grown up. After learning that his dog has not been sold, Alo confronts his mother in their kitchen. He pledges that he will try harder and grow up, but firmly informs her that she must make an effort to be less domineering, which moves her to tears. His father later recovers, and Alo finally manages to move the stubborn rock, using his new tractor.
In "Grace" Alo takes part in Grace's production of Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare for the drama exam.
In "Everyone" Alo is the best man of Rich's and Grace's wedding but after tying Rich to the roof if his van and giving him a Justin Bieber haircut Alo drives the gang the church (which he organised) but gets them lost by taking an unmaked shortcut and crashing his van in a ditch. While Rich and Grace hitchhike with a religionous couple Alo tries get the gang to the church after a group argument the group splits up to find their own way to the church leaving Alo with Nick. During walk to church Nick keeps asking Alo if he got any pills with him which Alo angery tells Nick that he doesn't have any pills they keep walking but Nick is caught in a rabbit snare. Alo frees him and tells Nick that he's a good man they make their way to closest road trys to hitchhike a passing car which they relies that professor Blood is the driver. They are the first ones to get to the church before Franky, Mini, Liv and Matty or professor Blood with Rich and Grace already there they start the service but is interrupted by Blood after the rest of the gang arrive and Nick gives his speech to Blood Alo takes the gang to a tent party in a nearby field where they the gang dance and sing along to the band that are playing.
