The eleventh season of Degrassi will premiere in Canada on 18 July 2011, and the United States in the summer of 2011, and will consist of 45 episodes. Degrassi, previously known as Degrassi: The Next Generation, is a Canadian serial teen drama television series. This season has an order of 45 episodes, and will again have a telenovela/soap opera format, with the show airing new episodes four days a week, for the first 28 episodes.

At least three actors will be added to the ensemble cast. Production for the season began on 14 March 2011 at Epitome Pictures' studios in Toronto, Ontario.

Cast

New regular actors this season are Justin Kelly, Cristine Prosperi, and Chloe Rose, who have been cast as three students: Jake Martin, Imogen Moreno, and Katie Matlin.

Crew

Season eleven is produced by Epitome Pictures in association with Much/CTV.

Linda Schuyler, co-creator of the Degrassi franchise and CEO of Epitome Pictures, serves as an executive producer with her husband, and President of Epitome Pictures, Stephen Stohn. Brendon Yorke is also credited as an executive producer.

Episodes

The first run, of 28 episodes, are scheduled to begin in July 2011, and run for seven weeks. Seven episode titles have been released.
